Alternative Treatment Center Medicinal Marijuana Strain Library
The Department of Health Medicinal Marijuana Program has developed the Alternative Treatment Center (ATC) Medicinal Marijuana Strain Library to assist patients and their certifying physicians in making decisions related to medicinal marijuana. The library contains the most recent results of cannabinoid and safety testing on medicinal marijuana grown and dispensed by permitted ATCs.
The Public Health Environmental Laboratory utilizes High Performance Liquid Chromatography / Diode Array Detector and Mass Selective Detector in conducting testing. The testing consists of an analysis of the percentage by weight of:
  • Eight (8) cannabinoids (THC, THCA, Delta 8 THC, CBD, CBDA, GBG, CBGA, CBN)
  • Ten (10) toxic metals, (Arsenic, Cadmium, Chromium, Iron, Lead, Manganese, Mercury, Nickel, Selenium, Zinc)
  • Two (2) mycotoxins (Aflatoxin, Ochratoxin)
In addition to the information contained in this library, testing results are available at the dispensing ATC for patient inquiries. The selection of strains cultivated by an ATC is made by the ATC. Patients with questions concerning strain selection and dosing of medicinal marijuana should consult with their certifying physician and their ATC
